Wayne Wall Memorial Bursary – Now Accepting Applications

We are pleased to offer the Wayne Wall Memorial Bursary, a $500 award presented annually to a deserving Grade 12 student who plans to pursue post-secondary studies in Environmental Sciences or a related field at a recognized university or college.

This bursary honours the legacy of Wayne Wall, recognizing both his deep commitment to environmental stewardship and his longstanding dedication to the Manitoba Water and Wastewater Association (MWWA). Wayne was a valued member who contributed meaningfully to the industry and the community, and this award reflects his passion for supporting future generations in the environmental field.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Current Grade 12 student
• Accepted into, or planning to enroll in a university or college program in Environmental Sciences or a related discipline
• Must have a parent who is a member in good standing with the MWWA
• Demonstrated interest or involvement in environmental initiatives is an asset

We encourage eligible students who are passionate about making a positive impact on the environment to apply.

Application Deadline:
All applications must be submitted by June 30, 2026.

We’re excited to announce our upcoming Water & Wastewater Association Calendar, and this year’s theme is all about you—the People Behind the Flow.

We’re looking for photos that capture the real people who keep our water systems running every day. Whether you’re in the field, at a treatment plant, or behind the scenes, we want to see your story.

Submission Guidelines:

✅Must be water or wastewater related

✅Must include at least one person

✅ Must be appropriate for a professional/workplace setting
