Learning Objectives

This course will walk you through water meter maintenance 

Agenda

  • Understanding of basic measuring principal of the following 4 types of water meter
  • Strengths Weaknesses and Application of each meter type
  •  Understanding of difference between Automated Meter Reading (AMR) and Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI)
  •   Trouble shooting issues related to high water bills.
  • Meter installation best practices

Instructor:  Scott Norris

This water meter training course is presented by Scott Norris, who brings more than 29 years of experience with Neptune Technology Group, a leading provider of water meter solutions for utilities across Canada. Scott began his career with Neptune in the Services division, where he worked as a field technician performing meter reading, large meter installation, repair and field testing, meter replacements, and meter cut-ins. He later moved into project management, where he was responsible for overseeing field technicians, managing homeowner relations, and serving as a liaison with municipal customers. In his current role as Territory Manager, Scott provides technical sales and customer support, helping to ensure Neptune customers receive knowledgeable guidance and effective solutions.
