This course is sponsored by Indigenous Reconciliation and Northern Relations and presented by RRC Polytech.

This course is intended to prepare Operators to write the Manitoba Water Treatment Class I Certification Exam. Topics include: the hydrologic cycle, ground water systems, water quality parameters, guidelines and regulations, conventional treatment, slow sand filtration, fluoridation, iron and manganese removal, scaling and corrosion, taste and odor control, disinfection/chlorination, testing/sampling, and water treatment math.
