Class Format

Virtual classes are offered in real time with a live instructor. When you are part of a virtual class, your instructor is able to provide the interactive classroom experience from your own computer. You can participate in discussions, test your knowledge and ask questions, just like in a regular classroom. These classes run similarly to a live class and are a great option for those people interested in completing their training in a typical timeframe.

Learning Objectives 

After completing this course, you will be able to: 

  • Study the engineering principles related to gravity flow and forced systems and wastewater treatment facilities
  • Select and apply appropriate formulae used in the wastewater fields
  • Analyze and convert between common units of measure
  • Perform algebraic functions and calculate values related to wastewater technology
  • Recognize abbreviations, conversions and apply formulae used in the wastewater fields
  • Understand the associated science behind the calculations

Who Should Attend 

You should take this course if you:

  • operators responsible for the maintenance of wastewater utility systems including plant operations;
  • technicians responsible for system design and quality control;
  • supervisors & Managers of wastewater systems

All attendees must have their own computer with audio and video capabilities to participate.
