December 13-14, 2021 (2 Days) 10:00 am – 6:00 pm Daily (CDT)

Class Format

Virtual classes are offered in real time with a live instructor. When you are part of a virtual class, your instructor is able to provide the interactive classroom experience from your own computer. You can participate in discussions, test your knowledge and ask questions, just like in a regular classroom. These classes run similarly to a live class and are a great option for those people interested in completing their training in a typical timeframe.

Learning Objectives 

Teaches communication and financial skills required in the water sector.

After completing this course, you will be able to: 

  • Understand leadership and basic management skills, and how to manage resources and performance.
  • Understand customer service management.
  • Identify mechanisms for resolving conflict.
  • Understand performance assessment tools, budgeting and controls.
  • Understand the interview and recruitment process.

Who Should Attend 

You should take this course if you:

  • Were recently promoted into a supervisory or management role;
  • Are interested in pursuing a supervisory or management role in the future;
  • Are interested in obtaining or further developing your management skills, but are not certain if you want to complete the full BCWWA Management Skills Certificate Program; or
  • Require continuing education units (CEUs) to maintain your Operators certification.

        All attendees must have their own computer with audio and video capabilities to participate.
