The session will show how an effective pipeline asset management program enables owners and operators to anticipate and selectively minimize these financial and service supply burdens while extending the life of these critical assets through engineered rehabilitation and maintenance.

Bios:

Luc-Rejean Lepine - Luc-Rejean has a degree in Engineering from the Quebec University in Montreal. He practiced for a few years as:

·       Automation Design Engineer  for wastewater pumping systems

·       Inside Sales Supervisor  for the region of Montreal

·       Market Manager for Aftermarket & Services business and

·       Technical & Training Manager within the Xylem Water Solutions company.

Luc-Rejean has participated in various projects such as

·       implantation of the ISO 9000 Quality Standards

·       Kaizen events for companies "Lean" processes.

He also has a Value Based Six Sigma "Green Belt" certificate from the University of Michigan - College of Engineering.

Luc-Rejean is currently the Senior Market Development Manager for Monitoring and Control products with the Xylem Water Solutions company in Canada, and assist all the Xylem Sales Locations to provide end users with solutions to their water and wastewater challenges.

Rana Elbittibssi -  Rana Elbittibssi, professional engineer, holds a bachelor and master degree in mechanical engineering from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec.

Rana’s role at Xylem is a Territory manager western region Industrial, she has been with Xylem about 14 year. Rana has more than 22 years of experience in pumps, mixers and rotating equipment that function within water, waste water treatment, transport, solid management and industrial markets.

Mike Garaci - Mike is with Pure Technologies, a Xylem Brand. For almost 20 years, Mike has been applying innovative, technology-based pipeline management solutions that allow water and wastewater utilities to correctly identify where capital resources should be invested, and which pipelines can be reliably left in service by designing condition assessment programs for pressurized pipe.   Mike has a Master of Science degree from the University of Toronto.
