-          Proper Valve box Installation

9:00 – 9:45 am

-          AWWA Gate Valve Design, Operation and Maintenance

9:45 – 10:00 am

- AWWA Butterfly Valve Design,          Operation and Maintenance


Coffee Break:

10:00 – 10:30 am 
10:30 – 11:30 pm

- AWWA Fire Hydrant Design, Operation and Maintenance

Lunch: 

11:30 – 12:00
12:00 – 1:00 pm

- AWWA Fire Hydrant Design, Operation and Maintenance

1:00 – 1:30 pm

            - Establishing a proper maintenance program and Workshop instructions

1:30 - 4:30 pm

-          Workshop in the field working on hydrants, taking them apart, discussing the repairs needed and reassembling the hydrants.  Each hydrant will be operated upon completion.

4:30 pm – Adjourn

Note:  Participants in this workshop are eligible for 0.6 continuing education units (CEUs) under the Manitoba operator certification program.
